Welcome 2011..

Here I find myself sitting in a quirky apartment with rickety wood floors, big windows, and no living identifiable living room. Outside of our kitchen windows is a spectacular view of the Seattle city scene and Lake union providing a refreshing touch laying beneath. If one were to tell me a year ago, I would be living and working in Seattle, I would have laughed. This is not where I would have envisioned myself. It's something I had always dreamed of though. Living in a city, finding a job, fending for myself, and growing up a bit. But here I am, actually doing something on my "bucket list" if you will. On my never ending journey of self discovery.

I more than pleased to welcome 2011 in this new wonderful city of mine. I don't know how long I intend to stay here but I figure I may as well take advantage of the all the opportunities living in a city has to offer. I am member of an awesome climbing gym; I signed up for am improv class; I am playing ultimate; working full time; and I am happily single. Life is treating me better than expected.

So thanks 2010 for teaching me many life lessons; opening new doors; and closing the doors that were already falling apart. I appreciate all the people who were apart of my life in 2010. It was a year of learning and making strides in my process of self improvement.

So cheers to old and a cheers to new!! Let 2011 surprise me with the unexpected joys of life!
